The lavender plantation, poetically named by us The Sory of Lavander consists of 2 hectares of lavender and lies just next to our small black locust forest – an ideal place to relax and enjoy some spare time in nature. The lavender plant is a small family project that we have worked on since early 2020 till now. In 2022 we managed to benefit from European financing in order to develop a more complex project – creating a brand for The Sory of Lavander. Throughout this brand, we engaged to offer our clients the chance to purchase fresh lavender flowers, floral arrangements and bio lavender products like high quality lavender essential oil and lavender water, and other cosmetic products, straight from the producer. In early summer, in June and July, when the lavender flowers are in full bloom our public has the chance to visit us, relax and enjoy some spare time in nature, take memorable photo shootings in the purple lavender field, or organize their events straight there, in an unique location, in the forest shade, next to the lavender field. Admiring sunset in a lavender field, with a glass of wine at hand or tasting the unique lavender delicacies that we prepare and serve straight from out food truck while enjoying aromatherapy, this is what makes a unique experience.
How can you reach us?
The Story of Lavander is located in Comuna Costei, Timis County, Romania. At the entrance in Costei , coming from Lugoj, Rozelor Street, at 50 metres from the roundabout, turn right (just after the cemetery) . The street will curve left, Bujorilor Street, and you have to go straight on for about 200 metres and then turn right. Cross the railway and keep right on Iasomiei Street for about 300 metres, till the end of the asphalt road. They go on driving / riding/ walking on the country road, the Lavander Street for 1,5 km, up on the hill. At the end on the road you can see the White Little House of top of the hill. That’s where The Lavander Story is.
